Building workboats on a large scale: Groeneveldt is specialized in building various types of workboats for civil engineering projects.
BOATS UNDER CONSTRUCTION
Warber I / BN 107. This will be a fully electric work vessel. It will be 20 meters long and 8 meters wide. Two thrusters will provide the speed, and a Fassi Marine crane on deck will handle the heavy lifting.
Warber II / BN 108. This will be a fully electric work vessel. It will be 20 meters long and 8 meters wide. Two thrusters will provide the speed, and a Fassi Marine crane on deck will handle the heavy lifting.
MerweCat / BN 109. This will be a fully electric work vessel. It will be 20 meters long and 8 meters wide. Two thrusters will provide the speed, and a Fassi Marine crane on deck will handle the heavy lifting.
MTS Gentiaan / BN 110. This will be an inland tanker. Length 110.00 meters and a width of 10.50 meters. Two Mitsubishi S6R engines will propel the ship. Delivery December 2026.
MS Julia / BN 112. This will be a work vessel 19.95 meters long and 4.95 meters wide. A Steyr engine will drive the propeller, and the ship is equipped with spud piles. Delivery September 2026.
MRD Ponton / BN 113. This building number concerns a propulsion pontoon. Length 25.00 meters and width 7.50. A Fassi F545 on deck completes the set.
Provincie Groningen / BN 114. This building number concerns a hybrid work vessel 20.00 meters long and 5.60 meters wide. A diesel generator supported by a battery pack will provide the propulsion. We are installing a Fassi F215 crane with grab on deck.

Groeneveldt is located in the Netherlands, on the waterfront in Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht. Our company has built its reputation on designing, building, and delivering workboats. From start to finish, everything is done in-house. Each workboat is custom built to accommodate the customer's wishes and requirements, which means that every boat has unique features. The working vessels we build are mainly used for civil engineering projects.

New
Groeneveldt Marine Construction is adding a new type of workship to our product range. The divisible EW1250 is available with diesel engines, but also with a completely emission-free design. A Fassi crane on the deck completes the delivery.
Available from now on
Groeneveldt Marine Construction is once again launching a new type of work vessel. This construction number is now available in a fully electric version. Zero emissions, zero noise, and zero vibrations. It doesn't get any greener than this.

We are busy developing the MTS Gentiaan. We are proud to be part of this ship. She will be launched at the end of December 2026.
